This process helped me prepare to work on the dark subject of sexual abuse of children in the Catholic Church. On my trips home to Ireland to visit my parents I would take my work with me. My father asked me what I was doing with these and I told him I didn't know yet. He said," Well, I hope there's big money for little linen squares in Los Angeles!"
